Quinoa is a plant original to the Andean region of Peru. Known by the Incas as 'Cisaya Mama' (Mother of All Grains) it is well known due to its nutritional composition, containing essential amino acids among other nutrients. Peruvian Harvest's Raw Sprouted Quinoa Grain is organically grown in Andean region, sprouted and then processed through a unique cold drying process in order to obtain a great product with all of the natural nutrients intact.

APPLICATIONS

Food Preparation

Let it soak and then rinse in order to obtain a softer grain. Once rinsed, add it to salads without further preparation, or boil for 10-15 minutes for soups or other hot meals.

Confectionery

Once soaked and rinsed (boiled or raw), quinoa grain could also be a great addition to the preparation of desserts.
